Vajra Catering Terms and Conditions
1. Service Agreement: By engaging our corporate catering services, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. This agreement is binding upon both “Vajra Catering” and the client, hereafter referred to as “the Client.”
2. Booking and Payment: a. Catering services must be booked in advance through our website, by email, or by phone. A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. b. The remaining balance must be settled in full before the event. c. Payment can be made by cash, credit card, or bank transfer. All prices are subject to applicable taxes and service charges.
3. Cancellation and Refunds: a. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund of the deposit. b. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit. c. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event.
4. Menu Selection: a. The Client must finalize their menu selection and dietary requirements at least two weeks before the event. b. Any changes to the menu after this period are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. Guest Count: a. The Client must provide an accurate guest count at least one week prior to the event. b. We will prepare and bill for the confirmed number of guests. Any additional guests will be accommodated if possible, with separate billing.
6. Dietary Restrictions: a. We can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies. However, we must be informed of these restrictions at the time of booking. b. Vajra Catering is not responsible for any allergies or dietary issues arising from food consumption if not properly communicated in advance.
7. Service Staff: a. Our staff will arrive at the event location in advance to set up and ensure the smooth flow of the catering. b. The number of service staff required will be determined by Vajra Catering based on the event size and requirements. c. Our staff will maintain a professional and friendly demeanor throughout the event.
8. Equipment and Setup: a. We will provide necessary catering equipment and utensils. b. The Client is responsible for providing access to appropriate facilities, including power sources, water supply, and adequate space for catering setup.
9. Client’s Responsibility: The Client is responsible for: a. Ensuring the event location adheres to any necessary health and safety regulations. b. Coordinating with Vajra Catering regarding event logistics. c. Any damage or loss of catering equipment or supplies provided during the event.
10. Liability: Vajra Catering is not liable for any damages or injuries that occur at the event location due to factors beyond our control. We recommend the Client obtain insurance coverage as needed.
11. Force Majeure: Vajra Catering shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.
12. Termination of Agreement: Vajra Catering reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Client violates these terms and conditions. In such cases, no refunds will be provided.
13. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to keep any confidential information shared during the course of this agreement confidential.
14. Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising under this agreement will be governed by the laws of Chennai, and any legal action will take place within Chennai.
